In the latest New Zealand Medical Journal, Health Coalition Aotearoa co-chair Professor Boyd Swinburn laments the erosion of public health advocacy within the reformed health system. He calls on the Government, Te Whatu Ora, Te Aka Whai Ora (Māori Health Authority) and the Public Services Commission to provide a stronger, safer environment for experts to advocate for better health outcomes, without fear of recrimination.
