Te Tiriti o Waitangi Responsiveness Framework

21 Nov, 2022 | Policies

Our Health Coalition Aotearoa Te Tiriti o Waitangi Responsiveness Framework sets out our identity as a membership group for tangata whenua and tangata Tiriti, and how as an organisation we will respond to the articles and principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, based on a tikanga values framework.

It was created by a reference group and Roopuu Kaitiaki Māori, led by Board Co-Chair Associate Professor Lisa Te Morenga, and an interim version was endorsed at the 2022 AGM. As a living document, it will be updated to reflect our collective understanding of best practices to uphold equity and hauora in Aotearoa, in accordance with the articles and principles of Te Tiriti.
