Pae Ora – A short submission guide to improve public health

23 Nov, 2021 | Submission

The Pae Ora Bill is a draft law that will shape the biggest changes to our health system in a generation. It’s important that MPs hear from the community, including the public health community, on the outcomes for this major reform that are important to you. The Bill is long and complicated, but your submission doesn’t have to be. We have put together five key areas where our public health experts think the draft law could be improved for better public health outcomes, and health equity in Aotearoa. You can download the short guide here. Submissions on the Bill close on the 9th of December, and you can make a submission online. Even a short submission is still a powerful way for decision-makers to hear your views. For any questions about this submission guide, email j.lawless@healthcoalition.org.nz .
