Hāpai Te Hauora

Jason’s whānau hail from Te Tai Tokerau and he is of Ngāpuhi decent. He currently leads Hāpai Te Hauora – Māori Public Health as the Interim CEO.

Jason has worked in Māori Health for over 10 years but has a background in technology holding a Bachelor of Information Science. Jason combines these two interest areas to seek new solutions to old problems.

At a governance level, Jason is also a board member at a Ngāti Hine health trust, Te Roopu Taurima, Yes Disability and his daughter’s primary school.

Jason is based in Tamaki Makaurau where he lives with his wife and 2 daughters.
