Dr Jacinta Fa'alili – Fidow

Dr Jacinta Fa’alili Fidow is a board Director Moana Connect and was previously Chief Executive and co-founder of this Pacific research and consultancy organisation now with a staff of 25 based in Mangere. She is a senior researcher in the Au – Pacific Child Wellbeing project. She has had several leadership, advisory and management roles including Child Poverty Monitor Advisory Group, Manager of Pacific Health Research with the Health Research Council, Senior advisor of the Pacific Public Health group in the Ministry of Health and manager of TAHA Pacific Maternal and Child Health Service at the University of Auckland. Jacinta is involved in the Growing Up in New Zealand study as a Pacific Advisor and completed her PhD investigating resiliency among Pacific families within this cohort.
Jacinta holds a Bachelor of Science, Master Public Health (Hons) and PhD from The University of Auckland.
