Warren Lindberg

Warren Lindberg began his career in public health as the Executive Director of the NZ AIDS Foundation from 1986-1998. He has worked on a wide range of public health issues, was a Human Rights Commissioner 2001-2006, and manager of public health funding in the Ministry of Health 2007- 2012.

He is a member of MSD’s Expert Advisory Group on Prevention of Family Violence, and an advocate on sexual orientation, gender identity, sexual expression and human rights.

He has a BA in History and English from Victoria University of Wellington, Master of Philosophy in management and labour relations from Auckland University, and in 1999 was honoured as a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to welfare.
