Sally Liggins

Sally Liggins’ almost 40 years in public health includes working in NGOs, Ministry of Health and Massey University in a range of roles e.g. planning, funding, leading national programmes, managing services and programmes and contracting as a consultant or advisor across many areas of public health.

She currently chairs HCA’s Smokefree Expert Advisory Group and for the last five years has been on Hāpai Te Hauora’s National Tobacco Control Advocacy Service Advisory Group.

She has also worked extensively with Prof Sally Casswell in alcohol policy and strategy across the Western Pacific region, and sits on HCA’s Roopuu Apaarangi Waipiro (Alcohol Expert Panel).
